Description
Product Name: Alloy Steel Butt Welding Elbow / Mill Finish Alloy Steel Elbow
Product Standard: GB/T12459-2017
Elbow Type: 90° Long Radius Elbow (90EL)
Nominal Size: DN108 (approx. 4")
Raw Material: 15CrMo (1.5% Chromium-0.5% Molybdenum) pearlitic heat-resistant steel. It features excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, favorable hydrogen corrosion resistance, and acceptable weldability (preheating and post-weld heat treatment are required).
Production Process: 1. Material inspection of 15CrMo (compliant with GB/T3077); 2. Hot forming (heating temperature is strictly controlled to avoid overheating); 3. Heat treatment (normalizing plus tempering, typical normalizing temperature: 900-960°C, tempering temperature: 630-700°C); 4. Machining of bevel ends; 5. Surface treatment by sandblasting or shot blasting to maintain original surface finish; 6. Non-destructive testing (UT, MT or RT conducted in accordance with standards or customer requirements); 7. Hardness testing; 8. Final inspection and product marking.
Application Fields: Mainly applied in petrochemical and power industries under medium-high temperature and medium-high pressure conditions, such as petroleum refining equipment (hydrogenation reactors, heat exchanger pipelines), reformer pipelines in fertilizer plants, superheated steam pipelines of power station boilers, steam turbine pipelines, etc.
Temperature and Pressure Resistance: The recommended long-term service temperature of 15CrMo steel can reach 550°C. It possesses high creep rupture strength and outstanding oxidation resistance below 500°C. Its high-temperature pressure-bearing capacity surpasses carbon steel, and wall thickness shall be selected based on high-temperature allowable stress during design.
Advantages of Hebei Hexin Pipe Fitting Co., Ltd.: 1. Profound expertise in manufacturing and heat treatment processes of alloy steel pipes including chromium-molybdenum steel; 2. Capability to provide customers with technical guidance on welding and heat treatment processes; 3. Stable product performance adaptable to high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions; 4. Capability of supplying supporting chromium-molybdenum steel pipe fittings such as tees and reducers.
Production Specification Range: The company manufactures a wide range of chromium-molybdenum steel elbows with materials including 15CrMo, 12Cr1MoV, 1Cr5Mo, etc. The general specification ranges from DN50 to DN800, with wall thickness ratings up to Sch.160 and above. Products can be manufactured in compliance with GB/T12459, ASME SA234 WP11 and other relevant standards.
