The slip-on flanges manufactured by Hebei Hexin Pipe Fitting Co., Ltd.are manufactured in accordance with DIN2501 standard, with model PL,nominal diameter DN50, nominal pressure PN16, raised face (RF) sealing surface, and material of 16Mn (Q345B) low-alloy high-strength steel.
Raw Materials: High-quality 16Mn (equivalent to Q345B) low-alloy high-strength structural steel plates or forgings are adopted. Based on carbon steel, this material is added with a small amount of alloy elements such as manganese, featuring high strength and excellent comprehensive mechanical properties.
Production Process: Blanking → Hot forging / die pressing forming → Heat treatment (normalizing or quenching and tempering,subject to requirements) → Machining (flange face turning, sealing faceprocessing, drilling) → Dimensional and visual inspection → Non - destructive testing (such as UT, MT) - Pressure test (if required) Surface anti-corrosion treatment (such as painting, galvanizing, subjectto requirements) Packaging and warehousing. Application Fields: Widely used in medium and high-pressurepipeline systems and structural parts in industries including petroleum,natural gas, chemical engineering, electric power, shipbuilding, boilerpressure vessels, and building steel structures for connecting pipelines,valves and equipment.
Temperature and Pressure Resistance: 16Mn steel boasts excellentstrength and toughness at room temperature. Under PN16 pressureclass, its allowable operating temperature range shall refer to thematerial-pressure-temperature rating table specified in DIN2501standard. Generally, its applicable temperature range is approximatelyfrom -20°C to +400°C (depending on heat treatment condition and working conditions), within which it can maintain the designed pressurecapacity of PN16. Attention shall be paid to the low-temperature impacttoughness of the material in low-temperature environments.
