Product Description: This is a steel flange specially used for connecting butterfly valves. It is generally a component of the valve body of double-flanged butterfly valves, or serves as a connecting flange for wafer-type butterfly valves. Application Fields: Widely used in butterfly valve installation of water treatment, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), fire protection, water supply and drainage, gas, electric power, shipbuilding and other systems. The PN16 class is applicable to medium and low pressure pipeline systems.
Temperature and Pressure Resistance: A105 material, PN16 pressure class. The nominal pressure is 1.6 MPa at 20°C. Its operating temperature range is generally from -29°C to +425°C. Within this range, the allowable working pressure decreases as temperature rises, which shall be referred to the pressure-temperature rating table specified in HG/T20592 standard. Butterfly valve flanges are usually matched with butterfly valves equipped with rubber or polymer valve seats. It should be noted that the temperature limit of valve seat materials may be lower than that of the flange itself.
